You are right on. It was hastily done. I was reading this at lunch and it struck a cord with me. I see a desperate soul getting ever frustrated dealing with a faceless bureaucracy and finally went over the edge. I quickly sputtered it to my mp3 player. I didn't check dictionary which I should have. I thought the faster tone sort of reflecting the whirlwind that went on in his head while he was writing it, like murmuring to himself. What do you think?
