在那條山路上

還在急切地向來處張望

That mountain trail


I might have promised you
to walk together with you
through that beautiful mountain trail

You told me that the hillside was covered by new tea trees
together with closely woven acacia trees
I might have promised you
in a spring afternoon passed faraway

Tonight, under the lamp light,
While combing my greying hair,
all of a sudden, I recall some
unfulfilled promises, and have some
unexplainable sorrow

On that mountain trail,
if the young you are still
waiting for me?
or are still nervously gazing at the far end of the coming road?
