The majority of us does not have the training to concentrate on the single goal, continuing five years,a decade or two, give up all other things to accomplish it. It is impossible to do all things. Bacon said, 'those who have wives and children are difficult to accomplish a big task'. Who place first his family can not become a world-class distance runner, or even impossible to run 3.5 miles, make his first 10 million dollars, write a great American novel, or ride a motorcycle around the world, this goal will require the input with complete devotion.
Above is a quote I've pasted. I have this weakness, too desultory--散漫, wasted a lot of time in reading without a gain. I, therefore, forced to follow a ratio of reading and writing, writing required stuff, as 1:1 or whatever it become beneficial for my output.
To reform myself, I assign 5 weekday as follows; Mon.---Zhao Yiman Day, Tue.---Ren Bishi Day, Wen.---Sargent Day, Thur.---Ye Ting Day, Fri.---Xiang Jingyu Day. These heroes/ines will be my teachers of life classes.
I try to enter Wenxuecity on Wen. and Fri. only. Otherwise I'll be drowned.
