Source: From Genesis 4:8-9. Cain has killed his brother out of jealousy. God

asks 'Where is Abel thy brother?' Cain answers "I know not, am I my brother's

keeper?"

The newcomer to the zoo, a quiet shaggy orangutan, used to work in a

world-touring circus, where he was said to have attained literacy. People

couldn't wait to try him out. Out of hundreds of proposals, the ape picked "On

the Origin of Species" and returned the book in three days.

 

"Any thoughts?" asked the zoo-keeper in front of an audience waiting with bated

breath.

 

"Am I my Keeper's brother?"
