今天發現種的絲瓜，爬出了我們的小院高牆, 上了鄰居家的橡樹，而且開花結果。存照並得詩一首。覺得美壇要上英文，就絞盡腦汁湊了一首，初次嚐試，肯請指教。

水瓜得誌過危欄，枕上繁枝橡樹攀。
果翠花黃風也笑，天高地暖遠鄉藍。

Climbing over the high fence in a small yard,
The loofah vine ventured beyond its guard.
Ascending the towering oak tree on branches so spry,
Blossoming and fruiting under the blue, open sky.
