In Africa, no animal dies at old age, most of them were eliminated in the Race of life after passing the peak of their lives.
All creatures are equal, herbivores have to learn to run in a couple of hours after birth and run for the rest of their days of life to escape from being hunted down. Predators have to run in their days of life to hunt their food. The roles of prey or preyer can also change, the hunters in one case can become the hunted in other cases .  For instances, cheetah,  one of the most  successful large predators, only a tenth of the cubs can make their adulthood; lion, the top predator, only one fifth of the male cubs  can grow up to full maturity, either die from starvation or being eliminated by the competitors including the adults of their own kinds.

It is nothing right or wrong about killing or being killed , it is all about survival.  The number of a large wildebeest herd can be a million strong,  wildebeests eat tall grass like a lawn mower cutting the grass to a certain height, and they often team up with zebras who like the lower grass behind wildebeests, zebras will strip the grass all the way down to soil. Without carnivores or deceases or other matters to control the herbivore's population, the green grass land would all have become desert.

Everyone has to race of its life. For any individual being eliminated in Race of life is a sad story. But it is the balance that nature must have.

Think of it, isn't it the same for humans? Although human nature is sinister, human nature does have  a shining point that distinguishes it from other animals. Only human will aid the feeble and handicapped of his kind. In nature, everything follows the nature's law of survival of the fittest.

Race of life

Every morning in the wild, a gazelle awakens one thing is for sure for the gazelle that day as every other she must run faster than the fastest lion if she cannot she will be killed and eaten.

Every morning a lion awakens for the lion too one thing is certain this day and every day he must run faster than the slowest gazelle.

Whether fate names you a gazelle or a lion is of no consequence it is enough to know that with the rising of the sun you must run and you must run faster than the day before for the rest of your days or you will die.

We all have to run, run the race of life
