這個詩有意思,

意思很朦朧, 我猜其中一層意思和"Hotel California"所要表達的某些意思相近。

首先 Windflowers 很像罌粟花，巴哈伊教創始人巴哈歐拉在形容升入天堂後迷醉於幸福之中時曾用windflower指代罌粟花，：“Strive, then, that ye may attain that station, that ye may unravel the mysteries of love from its wind-flowers and learn the secret of divine and consummate wisdom from its eternal fruits. ”(Baha'u'llah, Hidden Words, 91:2)  

而Seals 和 Crofts 又恰巧都信奉巴哈伊教，應該對這種指代的用法很熟悉。

另外我覺得翻譯時要注意，歌詞裏麵的話，似乎都應該理解成是“父親”講的，即便第二段也是“父親”的自述。
