No fun at all for the guy, trust me. 

Do they have young kids?

Divorcement could turn a working class' whole life into misery. 

There are a couple of live examples around me,  but it's all women screwed up men.

The women got the kids, half of the guys pay cheque directly into the women's accont until all the kids grown up, house was split into half&half, even though, the guys paid the mortgages entirely by themselves for the past .

One guy did not even know where the woman and the kids are, only knew half of his pay went away. 

He then started skip working more and more, eventually, went into welfare. Was a very bright person. Totally screwed.  

Very expensive.
