How about this:

I am think that we can ask friends on the forum (and possibly some other forum?) to contribute posts that

1. Has some element of foreign language or foreign culture;


2. Has something to do with holidays or festivals.

Examples are numerous, such as

  Introduction to an interesting foreign holiday or festival;

  How one spent a recent holiday;

  A memorable holiday;

  A song related to a holiday (such as a Christmas carol), either audio or video, best performed by oneself;

  ...
