祝賀愚公完成full marathon

這是愚公的message at 3:11 this afternoon：

Hi Ladies,
 

I'm back. I finished the my first full Marathon in 4:46:49 (chip time).
 

I ran the first 20 miles feeling great but had to walk for the last six miles. It looked like my legs were tired and would cramp if I kept running. I tried to run for a few times but my body told me that I had to walk and it's not negotiable.
 

When I got into my car, I received a voice message from Reid who was checking how I was doing. I called back and told him my run time and said I could not complain for I did not have enough training. He said you should be pround of yourself. Last Friday, he let me call him if I need help after the race.
 

 

愚公：you have been in my thoughts all day today. I am so happy you finished it within such an impressive time (my 10K*4 would be more than 5 hrs. haha.). Such an accomplishment! Now it's my turn for a full?  I will need to sit on it for now (I know Dr. Beautifulwind, for one, would strongly object), hehe.
