短故事練習

Today I said to my friend that she looked like a million bucks,

and she said：“Really? With all green wrinkles? ”I said：“No， you look

like a rich woman." she said:"Yes, I am loaded with money coming 

out of my ears." I said:"If it is the case you should lower your voice 

to avoid troubles." And then she told me her story of living in

Toronto decades ago. When she was 19 she worked part time

 for a restaurant as a waitress and took courses in a community college 

in downtown Toronto. She shared an apartment with a friend of hers. 

Before they moved in that apartment,they didn't realize that  most people living in 

that building were men but acted like women, and they were experts in girly 

things. So those men helped the two girls with their make up and bought them nice clothes

 in fair prices. Ever since, those two tomboyish girls started to look like 

pretty rich and attractive young ladies, but the only thing was that

 they were still as broke as before, no matter how many guys were chasing them.
