Really? After a carpenter caned his daughter

they set out for a library far away, ascending and descending mountains, and crossing fields and jumping over stiles. on their way back the daughter insisted that she carry all the books by herself, for she wanted the world to see that she was a scholar. But no one saw it. Farmers had repaired to their own houses, with only wheat and corns, suffused with the glow of the setting sun, waving at them. When the carpenter and his daughter came home, she run to her room, lit a candle and started to devour the books...she found more taste in books than in soy bean ducks...eight hours later the moon saw an unsnuffed candle burn on a table, with a three year old girl turning page after page...
'Pleasure comes after toil', the carpenter told himself while putting a coat on his daughter's shoulder...
