1)   Ice cream is not something that you can hang around and wait for. 冰激淩不是那種你能留得住，等得了的東西。

2)   He is very mellow, and we are the noisy type.他成熟穩重啊，我們是太吵了。

3)   I love Toronto. I’d like to go shopping some week in Toronto. 我喜歡多倫多。我想找一個星期在那兒購物。

4)   We can go on a girl’s weekend in Toronto我們可以在多倫多過一個全女生周末。

5)   That is very nifty (very good/cool)非常好！

6)   Speaking of show and tell, look at the car next to us, what is that?  Look up in the window, the back, it is a dog! 說到展示和講述課，看看我們旁邊那輛車，那是什麽？往窗口上看啊，後麵那個，那是一隻狗！

7)   I have chapped lips, I need a chap stick我嘴唇幹裂我需要一支潤唇膏。

8)   It’s put up a few weeks ago那棟幾周前建好的。
