Tuesday

當季莫申科(Yulia Tymoshenko)被判刑的消息傳出來時，烏克蘭首都基輔(Kiev)街頭上的抗議群眾和鎮暴警察發生推擠。法庭還判決，季莫申科必須償還烏克蘭在與俄羅斯天然氣交易中損失的1億9000萬美元。

Protesters jostled with riot police on the main street of Ukraine's capital as news came that Yulia Tymoshenko had been sentenced to prison and to repay $190 million lost in a gas deal with Russia.

 

Wednesday

布什總統在地板上玩起了運球，但由於球落在地毯上，沒能彈起來。這把熱火隊的球員們逗得哈哈大笑。

Bush dribbled the ball expecting it to bounce back up but it died on the carpet, eliciting a roar of laughter from the Heat players.

A survey by Harris Interactive found Chicago is the most stressed city in the nation, followed by Houston, Boston, Los Angeles and San Diego, while Miami is the least stressed, along with Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Cincinnati and Minneapolis.
