Swedish Academy announced the prize of 1,000 Kronor (US $ 1,400,000) in literature this Thursday, stating that the selection of 80-year-old author for the prize is because “he has provided us a new passway to reality through condensed and penetrating images”.


 


 


The U.S. economy had a net gain of 103,000 new jobs in September, but the unemployment rate is still as high as 9.1%.
