提出關於r音在pray裏的疑問。

小美風說發這個音時嘴型要圓。與我以往的理解不同，於是我查看The American Accent Guide這本書，裏麵有段話。

Lip Posture:The lips are not involved in producing the/r/ sound, but they are rounded when the neighboring vowels require  lip  rounding,  as  in:   or, rude,  round. 

我的理解是，除非旁邊的元音需要圓嘴的話，否則發r音時嘴唇就是一打醬油的，而pray的ei音不需要圓嘴，redio也是一樣道理。

探討一下。
