As to (1), after discussing with Jennea and Jingbei last night, I think I should change that paragraph. The question is not about fairness or equality. I agree with you, I can't blame the American Dream for the differences between Nan Wu and Liz Gilbert. What they have in common is their pursuit of their uniqueness/individuality, or identity. I wanted to lead into the second theme, about identity, so I put that question there, but it is not very logical.

2 and 3 are right. I will change them.
