1。 我認為兩個都可以。the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly 是一種陳述。如果一個人向另一個人說：hold the string tight, 那他強調的是tightness， 不是如何hold。

2。哈哈。我的猜想是作者給個講演。當時他想說：

It is this fragile thread that binds us to each （other）。

但由於某種原因（如他以為這樣說好象不常見 etc）， 他就把other改成了together：

It is this fragile thread that binds us together。

但是因為他在講話，不能把’to each‘刪掉， 後來別人把他講演寫成文字時，就出現了：

It is this fragile thread that binds us to each together。

哈哈

當然更簡單的解釋是別人把作者的文章抄來抄去， 多抄了的‘to' （輕讀，哈）

把to去掉就好了：

It is this fragile thread that binds us each together。
