各位朋友們，大華府地區是重要的華人聚集地區，來往中美兩國的人員十分活躍。鑒於最近國內爆發的疫情，已經迅速蔓延多個國家。美國已經出現確診病例。 大華府地區已有疑似病例出現。 本地居民需要保持高度警惕。傳染疾病麵前，人人有責，盡量早期治療，減少擴散。
 
出現發熱，咳嗽等感冒症狀，請戴好口罩，主動和周圍人隔離。

如果患者近三月內來自中國大陸，特別是武漢地區的，請立即通知自己的家庭醫生。家庭醫生會提前通知當地衛生部門做出特殊安排接診。

當地公共衛生部門會指導您下一步怎麽做。
不要直接去醫生診所，Urgent Care或者其他醫療機構， 因為他們沒有應對能力，反而可能造成播散。
情況嚴重需要上醫院急診的，務必在第一時間，最好在到達醫院前告訴醫護人員暴露曆史，便於醫院做好特殊接診的準備。
大疫當前， 我們不能獨善其身。請積極配合美國衛生醫療係統， 保障家人和社區的健康。

Dear friends, the outbreak of a lethal coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) in central China put our Chinese community at risk, given the fact huge volume of people travel back and forth between the two countries.  Two days ago, the first case in the United States was confirmed in Seattle, WA, a man recently returned from Wuhan, the city where this epidemic disease started.
Although CDC put screening processes in a couple of major US airports, we must keep vigilant to ensure the safety within our community.

Early reporting is extremely important.
If the patient, either yourself, your friend or family member, came from Mainland of China, within past three months, especially from Wuhan City, please call his/her primary care physician immediately.
Or call the local Department of Health, commutable diseases reporting lines:

If patient is so sick and needs ER visit, please call ER first and report the exposure history before patient arrives.
Try not to visit doctor office or urgent care directly and avoid possible spreading of this highly contagious virus.
