In WW II, US helped China to fight Japan, and not so many Chinese were hostile toward US.
After the Korean war, Chinese have been hostile toward US, vice versa.
In my own family, my dad fought for China in Korea and my uncle fought US secretly in Vietnam for China.
However, I have been studying and working in US. I once talked to my uncle that I am doing the right things.
If Chinese are really smart, we should try to get along with American.
