When I was in the graduate school at Academia Sinica in early 1980s, I picked a booklet one day in a classroom which was discarded there. After reading it for a few minutes, I found out that it was some lecture notes by Li Zhengdao. To my surprise, it was all about abstract algebra or group theory alike. From that day, I know that math and physics belong to one family, not just in Newtonian time but up to today.
