Two men arrested after home invasion and kidnapping in Laval

Two men were charged at the Laval courthouse Tuesday afternoon following their arrests in what police described as a home invasion and abduction.

“The suspects entered the house. There was an altercation with the owners,” Beshara said. “There were shots fired inside the residence and the suspects kidnapped a woman, who is 26 years old.”

The woman was forced into a car and driven away, Beshara said. Officers located the vehicle quickly in Boisbriand, just north of Laval, based on information from a witness or witnesses.

The woman was still inside the vehicle when police surrounded it, and she was taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
