I live in a medium sized city

There's everything you might need for living, shopping, eating, loafing, working.  No bad traffics, no visible crowds and things are cheap. I don't like dealing with Chinese people so this is where I want to be to avoid them. Whenever I hear someone speaking Chinese, I'd walk away quickly. Luckily it's really really rare happening here.  No one comes to bug me with their Mandarine.

I've never lived in a small town, but I do like a particular one in West Virginina. It's called Shepherdstown, located next to Harpers Ferry, a famous place on the Underground Railroad where Harriet Tutman secretly sent escaped slaves to the North. It is a very unique place with lots of boutiques and coffee shops lining up the street at downtown. I had a short sting of staying there and immediately fell in love of it. It's raministic of the old South and the Civil War era, and it reminds me of Charles Dicken's novel, The Old Curiosity Shop, with the 19th century Victorian age charm.

If I can choose where to live and die, I'd choose Shepherstown WV.
