Is there any law in Friendly's?

Today morning I had a breakfast in Friendly's with my friends. When I was ordering orange juice, I asked the waitress to warm it up alittle bit for me. But I could tell that she looked unhappy though she said that she could do it. My friend said that there is a law that I was not supposed to ask her doing it, it is against the law.

Is there anyone knowing about it? What kind of law? If so, I would really want to learn about it.
