I lent a car to a friend. Some days later he returned to me. And I found there are some clear scratches on hood. I need to pay $200 to fix it. I asked him to pay that but he refused. He just said it is not his fault. I am sure there are no such damages before I lent to her. So how can I do? May I charge him? How much possiblity I can win? I have not paper agreement with him. Only oral agreement. And no wittness.
