Property tax question

I paid property tax twice in 2008(that is, paid 2007 tax in Jan,2008 and 2008 tax in Dec,2008). Can I claim property tax deduction for both of them in this year(Schedule A). Last year I used standard deduction and this year I plan to use itemized deduction.Thanks!
