PARKING LOT 刮車，報警，FUTURE

兩周前我開車不小心scratch 了旁邊的車，drove away,今天對方insurance agent 告訴我，有目擊證人告訴事主，who report to police man shortly,policeman 並作了document. 對方保險公司告訴我DAMAGE 是 a very little splot 調了油漆，估價200刀。對方告訴我IF YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF THIS AMOUNT MONEY， ploice will not do anything with this accident. This document will not affect your immigration status unless you cannot take care of it and we fill a legal form to the court and collect the money. Is this true? 我想和事主私了，但他已經報警。這樣我在美的身份是否已經有影響？申請綠卡甚至在美國工作都很有問題了，我正在申請H1-transfer,是否也沒有希望了？我應該讓我的保險公司介入嗎？懇請各位指點！
