I don't think insurance will cover your damage

From your earlier message, it seems to me you cause the
ceiling to cave in when you put weight on the wrong part
of the ceiling. I don't think insurance will pay for
damage caused by owner's direct action. (Kitchen fire
burn down the house is not a direct action) I don't
think 1600-2000 is a reasonable price for the repair.
