There are speed traps set by police; but catching people speeding in a school zone is definitely not a trap. I myself did get a speeding ticket near a high school during weekend several years ago. (I do not think I speed as it was after an all-way stop sign and my big car does not have the torque to get to that speed so fast unless I deliberate push gas pedal hard.) Even though I had to pay the fine, I think it is a good lesson for me. I have been really careful around school zones ever since, no matter I saw any kids around or not.

Honestly, if you speed 20ml on a highway, I would applaud to you as I think that is pretty cool. However, speeding 16ml in a school zone, twice within a year, and still think yourself innocent, is simply shocking; especially for somebody who is a mom herself.
