Nobody from mainland China trust in God in the beginning, but it at least has two aspect good benifit for you:
You and she would have some common friends, and usually those friends from church are good for your family.
Second, once she like the church life, then it become hard for her to seek another man in her mind, even she doesn't believe it.
BTW, why did you doubt you can't drive a car? You will, no doublt about it, and the longer time you stay in USA, the better situation you would have..
