請教: SMALL CLAIM COURT for Car Damage

Our two cars (parked at our apartment parking lot at night) got damaged by a fallen tree because of severe wind and storm.

The Apt. owner's property insurance Co. has denied payment for our car repair cost ($2000). We feel very upset and unfair, so we are planning to go to our local New Jersey county court. Do we have any chance to win this claim?
