Better work with landlord and find a peaceful way to settle down

Going to court is not the best way. Your landlord should not charge you for new carpet, but you really need to compensate your landlord. I don't think your landlord doesn't want to negotiate. Be co-operative. Sit down and talk. If I were you, I would probably secretly change that bleached spot myself - it won't cost a lot of money. Didn't read your previous posting, not sure how big you bleached.
