公園是私人和國家所有沒有錯，不能私自采伐也不錯。如果是私人屬地當然沒有征得同意是不能動一草一木的，但是公園絕大部分是公共財產，這裏所能夠采摘的食用野菜可以說100%在美國的劃分是“WEED"，看看下邊關於From Wikipedia關於WEED的定義：簡單一句話WEED就是不要的雜草，在花園草地田野WEED是一大害，就隻說公園每年都花費大量的人力物力來控製消滅WEED，所以在公園挖野菜是在做好事，在幫助公園做鏟除雜草。需要證書才能釣魚，但除了自然公園之外沒有聽說過要證書才能挖WEED，就是自然公園需要證書的也是一些稀有或者珍貴的蔬菜或者藥材。不知道別誤導。至於蚌殼類，各個海灘不一樣，大部分地方是可以自由挖采的，個別地方除外。

Weeds may be a nuisance because they have thorns or prickles, cause skin irritation when contacted, or parts of the plants might come off and attach to fur or clothes.
