繼續問：怎樣從F2轉J1？

We cannot do a change of status from F1 or F2 to J1, but if the person is
otherwise eligible for J-1 status we could prepare documents for him/her to
take outside the U.S. to apply for the J-1 visa and re-enter in J-1 status.

對方來信中提到了轉的方法，就我理解，申請人要在美國之外申請才行。但是具體操作是什麽樣的，我還是不太清楚？我現在在美國，該怎麽做呢？
