It's OK for a licensed attorney to provide advice to people over the Internet as long as 1) you don't present yourself as an attorney; 2) you do not charge the recipient of your advice for such advice. Even if you don't have a license to practice, there is no violation of bar association rules if you do not hold yourself out as an attorney.
