Discrimination -- Don't say it won't happen to you.
I am bringing it here again, as it happened to me now and a few years ago I never mind to read anything about it because I thought discrimination happens only to the weak. I was totally wrong... I experienced not only discrimination but also retaliation and I am now in this headache process to fight. Hope what posted here will helpful. Thanks a lot to, Pediatrician, Orgirl, wxc2008 and old sigle cat: Currently, I have only contacted EEOC, one official from EEOC told me before they would sue the company for me and I did not take the trouble to find a lawyer. You are right, EEOC wanted me to talk with my HR first and the HR told me I was wasting their times. EEOC DID wish/arrange to have the problem solved between my company and me. And my company proposed a solution which even a baby know it was a trap. And I didn't sign anything. I also have a sense that EEOC may not do a good job, but I really don't know whom I can trust through all those trials. My company is very powerful in NYC and all US. And they have one of best employment lawyers... All advices are welcome...
