就老公的律師前景與老貓商酌

老公33歲，現讀法學院二年級。當時不想搬家（當時我正懷孕）所以老公選澤留在本地的一間排名20 到30法學院 （LAST 161）。現在老公is ranked at 10% to 12% for 1st year. His background is IT and he worked about 10 years in IT field before went to Law school, and his last job title was IT architect ( Manager level ). He also owed 2 Masters Degrees in US, which are CS and 地球科學.

Based on his background, what is the best field for him to develop lawyer career in US as a Chinese attorney? Could you suggest a long-term view of his career? Both of us now think that he might do IP and/or international law, but is there any other direction could be? Is it possible to go back China working for a few years with US pay after his graduation?

He is looking for a summer internship now, but it is challenge. He already had 5 interviews ( Firms selected students in who is in top 25% ) but he hasn’t got an offer so far. Any suggestion? I am a little bit worried because 2nd year summer internship is a critical step to settle down a job.
