About keeping and receiving 盜版影碟.

Someone has more than 2000 盜版影碟 at home.Most of them are 美國影碟. He brought some of them to 美國 from China, and his family have been sending him more movies from China now. So does he breaking any 美國 law now? Will he get into any trouble by keeping and receiving those 盜版影碟?
