You just have to make your self clear, no more sponsor for green card, no more marriage. I believe once she knows the green card is no longer, she would not want waste any time with you. If you wait for 2 years separation, the green card may have already been processed. Do you want her to come to US and get a divorce here? That's gonna cost you dearly.
