The best way is find them a tenant yourself. Find a local news paper which cost you 100, and save 6 months rent.

On the other hand, you can choose not to pay the rent now, and start negotiating with them. Any landlord wouldn’t like those not paying rent on time and might agree to let you move out earlier.
