travel to Korea as a Chinese citizen with J1 visa. Please advice

Dear Friends,

As a J1 holder located in Los Angeles, I need to take a bussiness trip to Korea in the end of next month. Shall I go to Korean embassy in US and apply for biz travel as a Chinese citizen? Please let me know what I shall do.

Please advice. Thanks a lot!
