Thand you STP! I finally did it. The muffler

The only thing now is that at the adapting place where the existing exhaust pipe meet the muffler, I can feel with my hand that exhaust gas is coming out. Do I have to fix that with muffler cement or the kind of thing, or do I just leave it like that?
