In this case, the seller receives 570,000 out of nowhere, i.e. gift,
therefore the seller has to pay gift tax. Otherwise how does IRS collect income tax because every employer would pay employee as gift instead of as salary. Employee would not need to pay imcome tax so
employer can pay employee less to reduce cost.
