I plea not guilty, filled the form, and sent it to the court one day after I got the traffic ticket in Jan 2005. The court confirmed they received it.

However, the judge didn't have time to arrange a trial in 2005. I called the court every other month in 2005 for a court date but the court clerk just asked me to wait.
