You are not familar with the insurance law.
So a lot of times you are asuuming and giving misleading advices. The bodily injury coverage of the car insurance covers both the physical damage, and loss of wages to the injured if the drive is found liable. The matter is if the drive has enough coverage. If not the injured own insurance of under/uninsured coverage shall kick in, unless he did not buy this coverage. Believe or not, most frugal people always buy liability only, which is a huge mistake. If injured and insurance has discrepency on amount of compensation, then injured can file a suit against the responsible party, which can drag for years.
