Yes you are right. There are many ways to extinguish a dispute and court action is an expensive and time-consuming way. As I said before, majority of disputes are settled outside the court (95%). Only a small number of cases will eventually go to court. Actually encouraing settlement, I was just trying explain the law and rights the equity law gives to each person in case of a dispute.
