If you have already done this, just wish yourself good luck. If you haven't, don't try it.

I am in Canada, and have 5-year B2 visa. last year, I first entered US in January, and got an I94 that would expire in July. I returned Canada the same day in Jan and did not surrend I94. When I entered US again in June, it was OK. Nobody asked anything. I came back in July without turning in I94. A few days ago, when I tried to enter US, I got problem. I was questioned by two officers for how long I actually stayed in US. Fortunately, I am a student in Canada and I have my study record and scholarship payment. They let me in, but told me several times that I should have turned in my I94, or they would think I overstayed.
