Help, any expert, please!

My lawyer emailed me last Friday that I should show up in cases of child support(my ex-wife apply to modify) and contempt the court order(sue my ex-wife) on April 6 in ohio, But now I am attending a meeting in CA, and when I hired this attorney, I emailed her that I would not be avilable during this week.She emailed me back that she would do her best to avoid these dates. I guess she forgot it and didn't notice me the court date earlier. I called her to tell her that I can't come, she didn't return my call. So, what should I do? Thanks.
(Even I book over night flight tickets for high price, I still can't bring necessary document with me because I'm not in my state)
