history too. Then I went to bank of america and they told me they could give me a securied credit card. That means I opened an account and deposit $500 in it. So I had a $500 credit limit credit card. But the $500 you can not withdraw it until after 1 year you have succesefully built up your credit. So at that time you go talk with bank to cancel the securied deposit but you now have a $500 limite credit card to use. You just keep using and using and pay it back always on time. 1 years or 2 years later, you can ask bank to increase you credit limit or apply a new one. You will find you can have as high credit limite as you can imagine. Of course if you open a saving a cccount with the same bank that will help you to obtaim more credit limite too. Now I have $7000 credit limites with my credit card within 3 years!
