Sorry, I put a wrong arriving date on my first post. The correct information should be:

My parents (2 people) arrived in the US on Oct. 10, 2004, and will be leaving on April 11, 2005. In this case, am I eligible for dependent (parents) tax deduction for 2004? or for 2005? I am so sorry for the mistake.
